The Expat’s Guide to Japan 2018 (December 2017)A research paper ‘Chiropractic : Comparative Study of Its Current Status in Japan and Western Countries‘ published in the Journal of Integrative Medicine Japan (May 2017)
I have lived in Tokyo for nearly 40 years and always enjoy an active life style. But sometime working in Tokyo is very stressful so that chiropractic care helps to relieve my work stress and improves my general health. Initially, I started seeing Dr. Takeyachi many years ago for neck and shoulder pain, also for maintaining good posture and general health. Since I am middle aged, my goal is to have a happy, healthy, active life for as long as possible. I hope to contribute to society for many years to come. To do this, I exercise regularly, eat a plant-based diet, and get regular chiropractic care. Bottom line: For modern, gentle and effective Chiropractic care for pain relief or health enhancement, Tokyo Chiropractic is highly recommended.
Before coming to Japan, I saw a chiropractor regularly in Canada because of headaches and tension in my neck. After moving to Japan, when I decided to seek out a chiropractor, I heard several warning stories from other expats saying that many chiropractors in Japan don’t have adequate training. I was so delighted when I found Dr. Takeyachi, not only because of his solid credentials, but also because he is so thorough with his treatment. He doesn’t just “crack my back,” he checks the flexibility and mobility in my entire body and makes appropriate adjustments to make sure I am functioning at my best. I can honestly say he is easily the best chiropractor I’ve ever had.
For many years I had terrible pain in my neck and shoulders. The pain was so bad that I couldn't sleep at night and was irritable all day long. I tried every pain medicine but nothing helped. Since I had treatments in Tokyo Chiropractic, I could move again without pain and better yet I could sleep at night.
Regular visits to Tokyo Chiropractic help my back to stay healthy and ensure that I run, cycle and swim without pain.
